IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATEGolden City Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic is still open as we are deemed an essential service to the community. The national governing body for Physiotherapy, the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), has urged physiotherapists to remain open in order to support/off load the hospitals, Emergency Departments and medical facilities so that they can focus their resources into COVID19 management rather than musculoskeletal injuries. It is therefore critical that if you sustain an injury or fall you remember that your physio can effectively manage such incidents (We can order MRI/US/X-rays if you need it).
In the current situation we would like to assure our patients that we take our role in minimising the spread of COVID-19 seriously. All our staff has undertaken the Australian Government Infection Control Training for COVID-19. Our practice is thoroughly cleaned regularly to ensure we meet best practice in regards to infection control. We do ask that if you have any of the following symptoms, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat or have been exposed to a suspected case of COVID-19 or confirmed case of COVID-19 we ask that you please call to reschedule your appointment.
